A new section of Hietama’s ancient trail network opens: Vätälä trail opening on Saturday 6 June 2026 at 14:00.

Hietama’s new ancient trail opens on Saturday 6 June 2026. It includes a guided tour with Timo Enakoski. We will walk along Möttölä ridge, follow the riverbank, and stop at Stone Age finds as well as at Hietama’s old aspen.

We’ll start with coffee and sweet buns at Kartano Kievari at 14:00, then head out together to tour the route.

The event is free.
