Teatteri IloSeOn presents: Table Theatre Tales

Fri 30.10.2026
10:00 - 10:35

Teatteri IloSeOn presents its own adaptations of three fairy tales selected from Nukketeatteri Sampo’s Table Theatre package. The cardboard table-theatre characters were created by beloved children’s author, illustrator and animator Camilla Mickwitz in 1986.

The first story is H.C. Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea, an adventure in which a prince seeks a true princess. You’ll also hear how the Fox and the Crow join the tale. Finally, together with audience helpers we bring to life the Norwegian folk tale The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The goats live on a mountainside, dreaming of a green meadow. To reach it, they must face a fearsome troll...

Expect cleverness and curious situations, sincerity and love — and plenty of courage!
