Teatteri IloSeOn presents: Table Theatre Fairy Tales

Sat 17.10.2026
15:00 - 15:35

Teatteri IloSeOn presents three fairy tales in its own adaptations, selected from Nukketeatteri Sampo’s Table Theatre package. The cardboard table-theatre characters were created by beloved children’s author, illustrator and animator Camilla Mickwitz in 1986.

The first story is H.C. Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea, an adventure where a prince searches for a true princess. You’ll also hear how the fox and the crow enter the story. Finally, together with audience helpers, we stage the Norwegian folk tale Three Billy Goats Gruff. The goats live on a mountainside, dreaming of a green meadow. To reach it, they must face a fearsome troll…
