Teatteri IloSeOn presents: Tabletop Puppet Tales
Thu 22.10.2026
18:00-18:35
Teatteri IloSeOn presents three fairy tales in its own adaptations, selected from Nukketeatteri Sampo’s tabletop theater package. The cardboard tabletop characters were created by beloved children’s author, illustrator, and animator Camilla Mickwitz in 1986.
The first story is H.C. Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea, an adventure where a prince seeks a true princess. You’ll also hear how the Fox and the Crow join the tale. Finally, together with audience helpers, we perform the Norwegian folk tale The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The goats live on a mountainside dreaming of a green meadow. To reach it, they must face a fearsome troll…
Expect craftiness and odd situations, sincerity and love—and plenty of courage!
