Teatteri IloSeOn presents: Table Theatre Fairy Tales

Sun 25.10.2026
15:00 - 15:35

Teatteri IloSeOn presents its own adaptations of three fairy tales selected from Nukketeatteri Sampo’s Table Theatre package. The cardboard table-theatre characters were created in 1986 by beloved children’s author, illustrator, and animator Camilla Mickwitz.

The first story is H.C. Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea, an adventure where a prince seeks a true princess. You’ll also hear how the Fox and the Crow join the tale. Finally, together with audience helpers, we perform the Norwegian folktale Three Billy Goats Gruff. The goats live on a mountainside, dreaming of a green meadow. To reach it, they must face a fearsome troll…

Expect cunning and curious situations, sincerity and love—and lots of courage!
