Teatteri IloSeOn presents: Tabletop Puppet Tales
Fri 23.10.2026
10:00 - 10:35
Teatteri IloSeOn presents three fairy tales in its own adaptations, selected from Nukketeatteri Sampo’s Pöytäteatteripaketti. The cardboard tabletop theatre characters were created by beloved children’s author, illustrator, and animator Camilla Mickwitz in 1986.
The first story is H. C. Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea, an adventure where a prince seeks a true princess. You’ll also hear how The Fox and the Crow become part of the story. Finally, together with audience helpers we will perform the Norwegian folk tale Three Billy Goats Gruff. The goats live on a mountainside, dreaming of a green meadow. To reach it they must face a fearsome troll...
Expect cunning and quirky situations, sincerity and love - and plenty of courage!
