Teatteri IloSeOn presents: Tabletop Theatre Fairy Tales
Thu 15.10.2026
18:00-18:35
Teatteri IloSeOn presents its own adaptations of three fairy tales selected from Nukketeatteri Sampo’s Tabletop Theatre package. The cardboard tabletop-theatre characters were created by beloved children’s author, illustrator, and animator Camilla Mickwitz in 1986.
The first story is H.C. Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea, an adventure in which a prince searches for a true princess. You’ll also hear how The Fox and the Crow join the story. Finally, together with audience helpers, we perform the Norwegian folk tale The Three Billy Goats Gruff. The goats live on a mountainside, dreaming of a green meadow. To reach it, they must face a fearsome troll…
Expect cunning and curious situations, sincerity and love—and plenty of courage!
