In the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, parish elections will be held on 15 Nov 2026 to elect members to parish councils. Advance voting will take place 3–7 Nov 2026 every day at Äänekosken seurakuntakeskus (Vellamontie 1 a, Äänekoski) 9:00–18:00 (and at the advance voting locations below at specified times).

Sumiaisen kirjasto (Koulutie 6): Tue 3 Nov 2026 12:00–18:00

An eligible parish member may vote in advance at any advance voting location in Finland.

The voter has the right to vote for a candidate from the combined candidate lists of the parish in which, on 15 Aug 2026, they are registered as a present member and entered in the electoral register as eligible to vote (a church member who will turn 16 by 15 Nov 2026).

Registration for home voting must be made in writing or by phone to the parish office no later than 30 Oct 2026 before 16:00.
