A diverse local heritage exhibition about Äänekoski, open Thu and Sun 15:00–19:00 starting Thu 24 Sep. The autumn season ends Sun 20 Dec. On the 3rd Monday of each month, the museum also hosts Tapahtumailta 17:00–18:15 on various themes.

"Where we come from - what we achieved" - a local heritage exhibition for all ages. On display: objects, photo displays, information texts, and maps from the Ice Age to the 2000s. In addition, small temporary mini-exhibitions a few times per season. Guided tours available. Tickets €5 / €3; under 15 free. Groups (over 5 people) by arrangement.
