Interview with Olga Kolari from Äänekoski, who has published the debut poetry collection Juureton laulu.

Juureton laulu is Olga Kolari’s debut poetry collection, exploring a troubled teenager’s growth into motherhood, loneliness, and the comfort brought by books and music when loneliness or external pressures become unbearable. Olga is also a musician fond of the kantele and improvisation. Her poems are the music of words, to which the sound of the kantele is essential.

Publisher’s representative Juha Jyrkäs will interview Olga. Olga will also play the kantele during the evening.

The poems invite you to think, feel, and empathize—to build new roots with the poet in emptiness, without ready-made models or memories.
